I’ve bought this exact set twice now.• The leather is spot on, so a little goes a long way.•The coffee is a perfect, classic, warm cup of black coffee.•The sweet tobacco is indeed sweet and rich, and perfectly compliments most everything.•The amber is absolutely dreamy and sophisticated.•The cedar is warm, woodsy, and the exact smell I’d expect from fresh cut cedar.•Old books is almost lactonic, like a creamy parchment, and pairs beautifully with the rest of the set, and acts as a perfect background note.

Delightful Scents of Summer
The P&J Trading Summer Set of 6 Fragrance Oils is a wonderful collection for anyone looking to infuse their home or crafts with bright, fruity aromas. The included Peach and Strawberry scents, along with the others in the set, are typically well-concentrated and true to their names, making them excellent for use in candle making, soap production, diffusers, or bath and body products. I Like Four Out Six/Some I Loved/Some Were Awful
I bought “The Study” collection. I was seduced by the packaging and the idea of what each fragrance might be. It turns out I really only like four essential oils in this collection. Unfortunately two of the oils were not for me. So here is a run down of what I thought of each one.Old Books ~ I love this! I can’t quite put my finger on this but to me this accord is warm with a slightly green note and a hint of Patchouli at the base. It is what I expected the “Leather” to smell like. If I am honest, this one was the impetus for buying this collection. It did not disappoint.Amber ~ I like this one. Although a little more sweet than I expected, it has beautiful woodsy and musky notes.Cedar ~ This one is accurate and very strong with a sharp almost unpleasant green note. This one would be excellent to blend with other oils to mellow it out.Coffee ~ Wow! This one is intense. Imagine you have freshly roasted coffee beans that are then ground to medium and then you pack both nostrils full. That’s what this one is like. I love it… but… good gracious, this one is strong! I am excited. In the past when I have tried to make things with a coffee essential oil it dried down to almost nothing, no matter how much I used. I really don’t see that becoming a problem with this product.Leather ~ It seemed as if this was mislabeled. I got an overwhelming scent of Tobacco and a chemical note I couldn’t pin down. I could not handle it at all. I had to put the bottle outside because it was so strong and overwhelming just sitting in the box in my house.Sweet Tobacco ~ This was a strange cloyingly sweet, green scent. I was intrigued and repulsed all at the same time. I might have gotten used to it but my husband couldn’t handle this one. I put this outside too.I gave both the leather and sweet tobacco to a friend that makes candles. Although I like the Amber and Cedar and I am keeping them, ultimately I replaced all four oils with Gourmand oils produced by the same company. I was hoping to buy the “Old Books” in a singular bottle but no such luck. For me it was worth it because I was able to swap out what I felt went together better. I wouldn’t go so far as to recommend this collection.

Overall they’re all good smelling oils. The banana and pineapple was my favourite. The papaya and tropical fryit I was not so Impressed with. They just need a slight tweaking to make them more true to the smell of the fruit. But I was 85% pleased and would buy again just for the other oils.

The campfire is SPOT ON….all the negative reviews on it are from non lovers of the real life campfire smell. I can’t believe how real it is. And the others are amazing as well…S’mores and strawberry shortcake are my other favorites with red cherry being my least favorite. Still good, just not my jam.Highly impressed. Going to make body sprays out of them!
