I’ve had it for awhile and it holds curls really well. And I love the crimper as well it lasts forever. I usually have issues with curls holding in my hair but not with this. It gets hot so be careful lol.

locking mechanism failed – caused burns
This worked well for me for 2 years with minimal use (maybe 4 times a month max). But recently I received a second degree burn on my shoulder when the waver was clamped to my hair and came detached from the heating element. The locking mechanism that keeps the metal part in place wears down and stops holding. Disappointing, I liked this a lot. The different sizes were great.

As someone who has had the same curling iron since middle school and is in their early 30s now, this was a very nice upgrade! My classic 1 inch conair curling iron gave up the ghost one week before we opened for a show I was performing in and I found this online and it appealed to me because of the multiple ones because I needed something to re-create those tight small ringlets That you would see in the 1800/Regency era and this did the trick! I was impressed by how easy it was to change between the ones, however, I do wish there was slightly more control over the temperature settings versus just high and low. The first time I used it I use the high setting and I was worried about the damage, but I think with years of doing hair for shows I figured out a sweet spot for how long to hold my hair on the iron. Period. But I worry about someone due to styling hair That they may burn themselves or burn their hair off. I was also very impressed with how easy it was to style my hair with this iron, normally curling my hair takes me about an hour or so, but I managed to do super small ringlets over my entire head within 45 minutes. The iron itself is beautiful, I love the rose gold. And I love the box that comes with so that way everything stays nice and organized. Lastly, these curls held up so much better than any of the other curls I’ve put into my hair over the years! I’m sure it was a combination of how much product I put in to make it stay because I sweat a lot singing and dancing on stage, but the iron definitely played a part!
