Incredible scent and adorable packaging. When I first started using amika products, I immediately went to see if I could purchase a fragrance from them and one wasn’t available at the time, so I am so happy I came across this! This is a safe blind buy if you love perfumes that are fruity and sweet. I’d say the price is worth it because of how just utterly delicious it is.

This aura hair and body mist by amika is definitely a lovely scent. Everyone interprets scent differently, but for me the scent that stands out the most in this spray is the pink grapefruit and the juicy apricot. I couldn’t smell any vanilla in it at all.The light scent is so uplifting but calming at the same time. Weird, I know. I think scents are different on everyone, so the only real way to tell if this is a product you’d love, would be to try it out for yourself. I can only describe how it is for me. I sprayed two pumps in the air in front of me and then walked through it and I sprayed a large pump on my hair. The scent didn’t last very long, but it’s beautiful and I found it energizing for a few hours. I definitely prefer hair and body mists during the winter months because I like how light they are as opposed to a heavy perfume.It’s similar to other body and hair mists and doesn’t have a lot of staying power, but the bottle is small enough to keep in your purse and reapply throughout the day if you wanted. It comes in 3 ounces with an average pump sprayer. The reason for the star deduction is that I think it’s overpriced because I’ve used other body and hair mists that smell the same and have the same limited staying power as this one does for half the price.I will comment on the cap. It’s fluted or shaped like a flower if you look down on it from above. That design is great because it allows you to grip the cap to easily take it off, where other caps are smooth and sometimes difficult to remove. That’s a positive for this spray. I recommend giving it a try, it may just become your favorite scent!
