New Favorite Mascara!
I was a little skeptical at first because I had never heard of this mascara brand before, but after seeing it all over my feed, I finally gave in and it did NOT disappoint! My lashes looked full without any clumps, super wispy, and honestly felt like my natural lashes, just much longer and prettier. And the curl managed to stay all day without feeling too heavy.I can also confirm the waterproof claim is legit. I wore this to a waterpark and came out with zero smudging or raccoon eyes. It still washed off easily with some cleansing oil, which is perfect for me.Amazing mascara, definitely my new go-to 🙂

Keep my eyelashes curled all day
The best mascara I have ever used hands down! This product keeps my lashes curled all day with zero smudge. I’ve gotten so many compliments when using this product. People think I have fake eyelashes or lash extensions. One thing to note though is that this product is very difficult to remove! Clio actually makes a mascara remover that is also available on Amazon. I tried it and it does help with removing the mascara. My trick is to use an oil based eye makeup remover followed by an oil-based cleanser or cleansing balm.

Lengthening but not humidity-proof
I hate to be the lone dissenter, but I was underwhelmed by this mascara. I tried 01 and 02. Neither held a curl in the Chicago humidity – indoors! 01 has fibers and a decent formulation, so I will likely use it in the winter. I am a mascara fanatic, and I use a Japanese brand primer with fibers, a well known (idol with an e) mascara, and a japanese fiber mascara as a third layer. People often ask if I am wearing fake lashes. There was so much hype around these, followed by a warning that these would be grueling to remove. IMO, these are neither great nor difficult to remove. I just used a run of the mill bi-phase eye makeup remover, and no elbow grease. So, my verdict is: 01 is a good mascara that will visibly lengthen lashes. It is water resistant, but it is not humidity proof, and it isn’t a pain to remove. Unless the formulation has changed, I’m going to have to assume that the internet doesn’t have the highest of mascara standards.

Honestly I want to gate keep this out of fear of product changing or availability changing bc it’s that good. Judy Travis recommended it from itsJudysLife on YouTube. She’s a MASSIVE beauty influencer I’ve followed for nearly 15yrs, turned family channel. She’s starting to get back into makeup again and did a little get ready with me using and recommending this mascara. She linked this in her Amazon storefront and I’ve already sent the link to my mom and all 3 of my sister. I actually liked it so much the very 1st time after I used it, I took it w me to my sisters so she could try before she buys bc we’re so particular about our mascara. She bought immediately. This doesn’t flake AT ALL. and doesn’t come off without a really good waterproof mascara remover. I’ve had this stay on my eyes for 2 days without flaking. It’s very black and holds curl. I have straight eyelashes that want to lay straight down. I don’t even use waterproof bc I normally hate it that much but this one is Chefs kiss. I got it on prime days for $9. $15 is a lot higher than what id like but id repurchase if it stays fresh long enough without drying out. I’m wondering if i can find it cheaper somewhere else. But again i wanted to use Judy Travis’s link, so i did it. Never heard of this mascara until her. But I’m not shocked i found the best of the best from her. She’s the best when it comes to beauty standards and opinions ! The best beauty influence for individuals our age(30’s-40’s) who have aged naturally and like to use great affordable products. She even has her own brands and has had many mashups with beauty companies. Can’t wait for this next chapter of beauty and skin maturity with her, now that she’s back in the game.

No volume, but holds a curl
Slightly disappointed tbh. While this holds a curl well for Asian lashes, it gave me little to no volume. I used 5 coats and barely saw a difference after 2 coats?I probably won’t purchase this again.

I didn’t even know I had eyelashes before I used this mascara. I am light skinned Asian and have short, straight sparse lashes that point down. I’ve tried SO MANY mascaras with varying degrees of un-success because so many of them weighed down the curled lashes and just un-curled them.This Clio mascara however holds curl so much better than most of my other ones, I used one coat and it gave me length I’ve never seen before on my natural lashes. The wand is thin unlike most other western brand mascaras so you can really go into the roots with them! Also very good for bottom lashes because it’s so extremely waterproof that it literally doesn’t smudge at all :)The only thing is because it’s so waterproof, that make sure you have an oil-based waterproof eye makeup remover 🙂 I didn’t, and it took me a long time with micellar water to remove.Overall 9.9/10 would def repurchase
