Life Changing!
I use this under a full face of makeup and also, on days when I just use my concealer and mascara. It really smooths pores and holds on to the concealer and foundation. This is a great product!

It Works SO Well!
I have been over, under and through the primer wars. None of the over half a dozen I’ve tried delivered on their dual promise: to minimize the appearance of pores and wrinkles, and to keep makeup firmly plastered to my face until I washed it off.All my previous primers did a halfway decent job as pore minimizers, but all failed utterly at keeping makeup in place all day. At best I’d get four hours of a “freshly made up” look before makeup melted away completely.The past year my go to has-been elf’s poreless putty primer, which I use on most of my combo face. I use elf’s matte primer on my nose and chin because those areas remain oily even at 62. Neither retains my makeup all day, but they were the best I could find (without paying a not so small fortune).I like elf’s products very much, especially their cc camo cream foundation and makeup misting & setting spray, and decided to give this new liquid primer of theirs a try. My expectations weren’t high.I am pleasantly gobsmacked, because *this* primer delivers beautifully on all counts! It’s the primer I’ve wanted my whole adult life. It does a superior job of masking pores and fine lines, firstly. But far more importantly: it keeps my makeup looking great all day long!It goes on a bit thick but I have no difficulty applying & spreading with my fingers so long as I work quickly. It sets up fast too, taking no more than a minute, and provides a nice smooth even canvas for foundation or blush. I didn’t notice much of an improvement in my skin’s appearance with the poreless putty primer but definitely see a big improvement in skin appearance and texture with the liquid primer. It’s the first primer I’ve found that seriously improves the appearance of my skin even without makeup.I have combo skin, and would say that this primer is very slightly on the matte side. It keeps the oil on my nose and chin at bay all day (which is epic) yet somehow softens my fine lines and subdues my pores without drying my skin. It’s bloody miraculous.It’s taken a lot of years and money, but I do believe I’ve finally found my Holy Grail of Primers!

Smoothing and makes foundation stay
I have maturing, combination, acne prone, oily skin with large pores on my nose. This doesn’t irritate my skin and it actually compliments my skin better than other primers, even high end ones. While it doesn’t cover my pores much when they’re most noticeable, it does a great job of making my foundation and skin look great the rest of the time.

Amazing. It really works!
This is amazing stuff! I went to Michigan for a reunion in July. Can you say, hot/sticky and humid! I was worried my makeup would slide off my face immediately after applying it so I decided to try elf primer to keep my face on. I applied it and immediately felt like this was going to work. I use powder foundation and other powders products so to my delight it glided right on and stayed! Now the true test, going outside and getting into the car! Did I mention the weather was 99° and humidity was 74%?! Anyways, hotel to car ✔️ car to reunion ✔️ reunion in a tight conference room ✔️ My makeup stayed in place, didn’t run down my face and stayed on through every dab of my face until I removed it myself with makeup wipes! Did it work? YES. Was it worth the price? YES. Would I buy it again? YES. I threw everything at it…stress/heat/humidity/dabbing and the only thing I had to reapply was my lipstick! Thanks elf

Amazing stuff!
I have never used a primer before and now I wish I had done this sooner! I haven’t put foundation over it yet as I find I like this primer more then I ever liked my foundation. As an aged woman make up just doesn’t look very good anymore but this primer does! It does not make my face look oily, it doesn’t looked like cake face, it stands up to all day wear, it holds up to hot day sweating, and it doesn’t rub off on my husband’s shirt when I hug him which he greatly appreciates LOL! This is very light weight and goes on easy.

Not for oily skin
It’s okay but not good for oily skin I have bad oily skin I just open the primer today I tried it and my makeup look really bad it only does hide pores for a while but if you have oily skin I do not recommend

I use the putty primer daily to prep my face for make up application after moisturizing. It goes on smooth and translucent and prevents the makeup from caking and settling into my wrinkles. Have bought this multiple times -good value for your money compared to other primers.
