I’ve Been Eyeing High-End Lip Balms, But This One Surprised Me
I’ve been tempted by luxury lip balms in the $20+ range, but just couldn’t bring myself to splurge. Instead, I decided to try the Essence Peptide Lip Treatment—and I’m so glad I did. The payoff is excellent for the price. It’s moisturizing without being sticky, and the soft pink tint instantly brightens my face. The texture strikes a perfect balance—not too thick, not too thin. I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free since my skin has been extra sensitive lately. The added peptides feel therapeutic and keep my lips comfortable and hydrated.So worth it—great value, pretty, and it completely fulfills my need for a hydrating lip balm. To top it off, it’s a clean, cruelty-free product, so I don’t have to feel guilty about doing something nice for my lips. I’m already planning to pick up the Toffee shade next!

Best peptide product I’ve ever used.
This is the cheapest, nicest peptide lip gloss I’ve ever used. Honestly, it works better than products that I’ve paid a premium for in the past. I don’t know how Essence does it but *wow*. Please don’t discountinue this gloss. Everyone is feeling the pinch of the economy right now so we need products that are affordable and effectatious. The applicator is really nice, the gooey bit feels amazing on the lips, and it has NO SMELL that I can decern so for those of us who hate fragrances in our cosmetics this one is a major win. I went ahead and ordered 2 more tubes because my husband kept stealing mine. In summation, you should absolutely buy it. It’s $5 and worth so much more. It lasts a decent amount of time on my lips, it’s easy to apply, the color is very neutral to clear, and the thickness is perfect.

Loved it so much, I immediately ordered more; Got it in Toffeetastic & Clear! It’s glossy and shiny without being overly sticky. It’s very hydrating as well! I probably need to reapply every 2ish hours, but I’m also constantly drinking out of my water bottle and/or snacking/eating, so I don’t mind. And because of that, I can attest to there not being a weird taste/sensation if you get it in your mouth. It’s affordable compared to a lot of other glosses out there imo, so I think it’s well worth it:)

Where’s the color?
I bought three different colors because i couldn’t choose which one i liked best, but they all look the same on me. The balm does feel nice and it’s not sticky, but unless you’re a corpse you’ll need to reapply constantly. For the price, it’s a decent balm.
